Maybe except when it rains every day for a whole month and has no apparent plan to stop

When we decided on our revolution theme, we had no idea that there would be a real life revolution

We were Europeans and now we’re not

We had a prime minister and now we don’t

We thought Boris would enter number 10, and now he won’t

We have seen back stabbings and treachery across all political parties

on a scale not seen since the Roman Empire

Somehow it takes the humour out of our theme.

As does the rain and the promise of more rain.

And what with the rain and the world gone mad we don’t feel sufficiently sunny to break through the clouds,  or to persuade you that it is fine to camp in a puddle and to pull your cars off the field at the end or to convince you that howling winds and freezing nights should just be brushed off as a typical British summer!   Even our party shed was flooded with water coming up from the drains (not smelly just wet)!

So this year Pettafiesta is cancelled.

We might be back, we might not.  But if you want to find out then do sign up.

If you have just found the site and looking to find out what we were going to do it’s all here on this site.

Looks good doesn’t it?!

and if you don’t do anything else this year, make sure you check out The Very Best

Love from all of us at Pettafiesta xxxx

Pettafiesta is a tiny 3 day music and arts festival in the heart of Suffolk.  Held in a be-yootiful moated garden, with several acres of space to run around in, and plenty of nooks and crannies in which you can just hide and relax.   Come for some or all of the weekend – there’s plenty to enjoy!

We have music from amazing new bands on the main stage.. including this year the amazing The Very Best, a Scandi/Malawian duo who tend to perform in arenas rather than in our intimate setting.

Joining them will be bands from near and far and of all musical genres.

But we also have acoustic performances in the garden from the best local singer songwriters hoping to follow the footsteps of local troubadour Ed Sheehan.

We have spoken word, comedy and cabaret, and will look to provoke thought and debate.

We’re a place where all ages party together (but some go to bed earlier than others) and there’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

We do things we probably shouldn’t..

We do it for fun but also to raise money for  Teenage Cancer Trust.  Ticket prices include all activities, parking and camping.  We do not have lots of craft stalls, nor traders or other things to waste your money on.  You only have to pay for the delicious food, the local beers and ciders (unless you want to bring your own – but why bother?!) and any relaxation treatments you have.

Come join our merry little gang!
