We’re back!!   We’re back with a theme and everything!   If you’re on Facebook you might have guessed the theme.  If you haven’t guessed then you need to keep checking in, but what you need to know is that we’ve got 3 days of fun and frolics lined up.  We’re just working out some of the details and you can be the first to know if you sign up for updates via the website.

You can also get the early bird tickets before 31st March which are at 2014 prices!     Full details are on the tickets page.

We’re actually quite excited!

If you’re into history scroll down for some of our archived updates from previous years.

This year started out as just a communal dinner and film and it seems to have expanded, so here’s what’s going on:-

Doors open noon Saturday so that you can arrive & put up tents, run around excitedly, find old friends & borrow a tent peg from new ones.

2pm open mic starts. Charlie Law has got a wide array of talent lined up and we will be holding a competition with judges from “the bona fide music industry!” We’re looking for the youth judge though so anyone under 16 who fancies being Rita Ora for the day should let us know. The winner gets a day in our studio.

At the same time, and just across the moat we will be starting our community art project. With the help of new internet start-up Popmymind, Andy will be hosting an event to bring out the artist in you – including collages, sculpting and a communal painting which will be filmed with time-lapse photography throughout the afternoon.

Suffolkfoodie will be serving tea, snacks and cakes from their new caravan which is almost as good as the Pettafiesta caravan and the bar will be open!

The film festival in our caravan will be on all afternoon (all weekend in fact), including the soon-to-be famous surround sound performances by Aartwork (check caravan for timings). We’re also going to fit in a bedtime cartoon club for the little’uns.

At 6 we’re going to head to the karaoke shed for karaoke and cocktails before the kids supper at 7. They will then be whisked away for games while the communal dinner is served followed by films and disco, and those not eating communally can play games too or go and have their own picnic. We’ll have the campfire lit (in fact two campfires as the dinner will be cooked on one) for those who just want to sit around it and chat.

On Sunday we’ll start with 1980s Musical Bingo at 9am followed by Granny’s family treasure hunt, tug’o’war across the moat for the brave, and the usual games of football and boat rides. If you prefer something more relaxing there will be massages available or you can just find somewhere quiet to read or chat with friends.

The music will start 11.30 ish with performances by Matty & the Bullsharks, Egyptian Blue, Thom Worth, The Lodgers, Beyond Revolutions and Fortunato. All very young bands just starting out – as is the Pettafiesta tradition.

Food will include the breakfast barbecue brunch, afternoon tea and our bar will be open for most of the day.

STOP PRESS:  We’ve now sold out of tickets for the communal dinner, but email us at info@pettafiesta.com to go on the waiting list or you can buy tickets via this website and bring a Saturday night picnic (food will be available to buy at other times but not Saturday night).

Here Come The Bands!

We love singer/songwriters but know you want bands too.   Here they are!   Hardactors Hardactors are a cinematic rock band which consists of two members Joe Bailey and Alfie Waike-Pawsey. The duo are known for their engaging live performances and their genre hopping setlists, taking influence from a variety of artists such as QueensContinue Reading

The Boring Shizzle!

(Can’t think of an exciting way to present this information)   So we admit it, we haven’t got the wristbands yet.  That’s because we ordered them too late because we spent way too much time organising entertainment.  Therefore, we will be leaving your wristbands on the gate under the name of the person who paidContinue Reading

Food Glorious Food!

Suffolkfoodie at Pettafiesta We thought we’d do an update just on food.   We’re always thinking about what delicious treat we’re going to eat next (and how many lengths we’re gonna have to swim to burn it off!) and so great food is very important to us.   We think we must be the onlyContinue Reading
